Terri Royston

November 13, 1957 — July 12, 2022

The adventurous, free spirited and extraordinary life of Terri Rae Royston will be remembered with love, long after her passing.

Terri experienced complete healing when she walked into the arms of Jesus on July 12, 2022.  Her reunion with her momma, Janella Rae Stephens, daddy, Bill Green, sister, Amber Hicks and many beloved pets are certainly worthy of rejoicing.

Terri had the type of joy that comes from deep within, one that cannot be shaken by circumstances. Her laugh permeated everything she did and was quick to bring a smile to the faces of those in her presence.

Terri was a resident of her beloved Ruidoso for the past 29 years.  During this time, she impacted the lives of countless individuals and leaves behind a beautiful legacy of friendship and love.  She was the truest friend to so many and never failed to make others feel welcomed, accepted, and loved.

Terri is survived by her Husband Ralph Royston, brother Billy Green, son, Jason Jackson wife Annette, daughter Jami Bevins and husband Troy, son, John Royston and wife, Holly, son, James Royston and wife Gina daughter, Jesse Petersen and husband Robbie, nieces and nephews, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and many loving cousins and friends who were considered family that will miss her deeply.

The depth and breadth of Terri’s life cannot be measured by days or years, but rather by the lives she touched, the joy she brought, and the light she leaves behind.

Terri has been interred at Ft. Stanton State VA Cemetery in Columbarium 1, Row B, and Space 18 for those who wish to pay their respects.
