Sharon Anita Lueras entered the hands of the Lord on February 8,2021 at the age of 69 in Alamogordo, New Mexico, she was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed. Sharon was born January 29,1952 in Carrizozo New Mexico to Wayland and Verna Ruth Hill, this is where she married Jake Lueras and raised their 2 children. She was a member of the catholic church, enjoyed working at Roy’s Gift Gallery, serving people their favorite ice cream and socializing with everyone. She loved traveling, bowling playing Bingo and spending time with family and friends. One of her favorite hobbies was collecting dolls, listening and dancing to her favorite music such as, AIan Jackson, Randy Travis, Alabama, Tracy Lawrence and Lorenzo Antonio. She was loved by many and was always there to help anyone who needed it.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayland and Verna Ruth Hill, sister, Arlene Najar, brother Dennis Hill and sister-in-law OpaI Hill.
She is survived by Jake Lueras, son Carl (Summer)Lueras, daughter Donna(Jimmy)Vermilion; brothers, Marvin (Carmen)Hill, Sr; and Wayland Hill Sr, brother-in-law Leeroy Najar Sr.; granddaughters, Alyshia Culley, Erika (Louie)Chavez, Janessa Vermiliion, Amilia Lueras and Lashae' Lueras. Grandsons Erick Culley, Zaiden Vermilion, C J (Jayli) Lueras, Eric (Mina)Lueras, Robert Lueras, 11 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Carrizozo, New Mexico

March 17, 2021 6:18 PMWhat I remember ...I spent A LOT of time at Donna’s house as a middle schooler and high school kid. She. Was. Hilarious. !!! Like really funny she had her own sayings. If I was there on a Saturday morning then I was one of the kids and cleaned the house just like everyone else. She was beautiful inside and out. She was a sweet soul and a good mama.
