Justin Ray Riley, 35, of Capitan was born October 20,1984 in Roswell N.M. to Clyde and Delois Riley of Capitan N.M. From his earliest days as small child, he had a love and passion for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and being with his four-legged friends, which always filled his heart and put that contagious smile on his face.
During his 35 years he lived life to the fullest and experienced many wonderful adventures; from working on a wild game ranch in Texas where he was able to be televised, living on a fishing boat in Cabo San Lucas, to hunting in Alaska, his life was one big adventure. He came back to Lincoln county in 2012 to be with his family and the ranch way of life that he dearly loved. Many days he could be found headed out on his horse with his trusty dogs by his side. He lived by the cowboy code and was known by all his friends as the first to help and the last one to leave until a job was finished. Justin took his last adventure on July 27, 2020.
He is survived by his Dad, Clyde Riley; sister, Kimberly Mitchell and many other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Mother, Delois Hobbs Riley; Grandparents, Floyd and Dorothy Hobbs; Grandpa, Jimmy Riley; Grandma, Carlene Smith, and the love of his life, Teresa Goodman.
