Imogene Jones

Imogene B. Jones passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020; of Capitan, NM where she lived for 42 years.  She was born on July 23, 1929 in Dublin, TX.  Imogene was the last surviving child of Lenzy D. and Annie Mae Berna.  She is preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Gay Dunee, the children’s father, Thomas B. Hall and her husband of 26 years, Marvin W. Jones.  Her parents, brothers, Lenzy D. Berna Jr., James Berna and Kenneth Berna and a sister, Mary Alica Calder.

She is survived by:

Daughter, Darlene H. Bobb and husband James W. Bobb and sons, James Ray Smith and wife Debbie Smith, daughter, Kelsey and grandkids, Zelda and Ebin, Drew Harlen Smith and wife Rebecca Smith and children Kale, Keagan and Porter.

Son, Linzy Thomas Hall and wife Anita Hall, daughter Tina Hall and husband Dan Heilman and children, Davin Robinson, James and Thomas Heilman and Milagro Renae Heilman.  Son Linzy Thomas Hall Jr. and wife Stephanie and stepchildren, Patience, Phoenix and Rayson Clabaugh.

Son, Dayne Harlin Hall “John” and wife, Kelly Hall and daughter, Brooke Chavez and husband Adam and daughters, Henleigh and Peighton Chavez.  Son, Cade Hall and wife Nikki Hall and sons, Braxton, Gavin and Trenton Hall.  Daughter, Lexie Urban and husband Jamie Urban and sons, Ashdyn, Braelyn, and Daeson Urban.  Son, Dayne Hall and wife, Kalyn and children, Aubreigh and Breckon Hall.

Step-daughter, Yvonne Steeby and husband David and step-son, Richard Jones and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren

Imogene was a retired banker, she worked at El Paso National Bank, Citizens Bank of Las Cruces and Security Bank of Ruidoso which she retired from as United New Mexico Bank.  She was in banking for over 40 years.

Her graveside services were at the Angus Cemetery.
