Dewitt Wood

DeWitt "Rusty" Martin Wood was born July 8, 1944, in Ft. Worth, Texas to Pete and DeAlyss Wood.  He passed from this life February 1, 2022.

DeWitt served in the Army during the Vietnam War.  He was devoted husband, father, brother and friend to many.  DeWitt was a devoted Christian who lived his faith daily.

He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Hallie; his brothers, Bob, Mike; sister, Sandra and numerous nieces and nephews; his sons, Darien and Robert; daughter, DeLynn; stepchildren, Matthew Womble and Amy Shaffer as well as a total of sixteen grandchildren.

Graveside services was March 10, 2022, at Fort Stanton State Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors.
