Aleda Wright

April 7, 1939 — May 5, 2023

Aleda Ruby Wright, was born on April 7, 1939 to Earl and Olive Lace, in Foster Quebec. The ninth child of a family of twelve.

Aleda married husband Art on March 23, 1957. Aleda gave birth to their son Ron in 1957.
Art and Aleda moved to California in 1965. Moving to Ruidoso in 1972 until 1976. After retiring from the phone company Art and Aleda returned to Ruidoso in 1989. Aleda was a homemaker who enjoyed gathering with friends and family, bowling, playing darts, traveling and cooking for everyone. She will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed by family and friends.

She is survived by Husband Art, Son Ron (Retta), Grandson Ronnie (Honey), Sister Liz Hawryliuk, Sisters-in-law Caroline Lake and Delores Wright, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by Grandaughter Kerriann Crystal Wright, her parents Earl and Olive Lace, her in-laws Forrest and Ena Wright, sisters Ethel, Olive, Rosie, brothers Osborne, Fred, Sonny, Lawrence, Alix, Richard and Reggie. Also brothers-in-law Frank and Forrest Wright Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, May 21st, 2:00 pm at the Ruidoso Masonic Lodge located at 144 Nob Hill Dr.(next door to the pink ladies shop and across the street from White Mt. Glass). In lieu of flowers please donate to Enhabit Hospice of Ruidoso, Humane Society of Lincoln County, Lincoln County Food Bank or your favorite organization.
