Yumin Baca, 36, of Mescalero passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 in Ruidoso. He was born June 5, 1980 at Alamogordo and had lived at Mescalero all of his life. He was a logger/tree thinner on the Mescalero Apache Reservation.
He is survived by his mother, Bessie Baca; children, Tunte Baca, Ethan Baca and Jaelyn Baca; his companion, Wendy Duffy; brothers and sisters, Nyles Baca, Wynette Baca, Geraldine Baca and Sydney Sanders.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 7, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Prayer service will be Thursday at 6:00 PM at the family residence at 207 San Juan Drive where the funeral will be on Friday, July 8, at 9:00 AM with burial to follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
