It is with a blend of sorrow and celebration that we announce the passing of YaVetta Jeanne White, who left this world peacefully on September 28, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 29, 1947, in Hobbs, New Mexico, YaVetta lived a life full of love, laughter, and resilience.

YaVetta is survived by her daughter, Angela Eggleston, of Bullhead City, Arizona, and her beloved sister, Belita Bird, of La Porte, Texas. She cherished her partner of 12 years, Alan Lasiter, who resides in Ruidoso, New Mexico. A proud grandmother, YaVetta is remembered fondly by her six grandchildren and a handful of great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces, great-nieces, and great-nephew from La Porte, Texas.

A dedicated professional, YaVetta enjoyed a fulfilling career as an office manager at Bruckner's in Hobbs, New Mexico, where she devoted 20 years of her life. Her dedication to both work and family reflected the strong values instilled in her from a young age, culminating in her graduation from Eunice High School in 1965.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Betty White, who had a profound influence on her life and legacy.

Though she may no longer walk among us, YaVetta's spirit will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
