William Padilla

William Santiago Padilla was a life long resident of Lincoln County died on March 7, 2017.

William is survived by his parents, Jimmy Padilla, Debbie Padilla; children, Joshua Onsurez, William Padilla Jr.; sister, Melanie Smith and brother-in-law Larry Smith; nephews, Gage Whipple, Jacob Smith, Austin Smith; nieces, Chloe Whipple, Haven
Whipple, Gabby Smith, Sophia Smith and Grandmother Gloria Aldaz.

William was a graduate of Capitan High School where he played football, basketball, and ran track. William was also a mechanic by trade, and certified heavy equipment operator. He also had a passion for building cars and motorcycles.

Fishing, camping, car shows, drag races, family gatherings, Tiger football games, and getting together with friends were his favorite pass times.

Funeral services for William are scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Capitan, New Mexico. There will be a rosary, followed by the funeral mass. The interment will follow at Rancho De Torres mile marker 314 on highway 380.

The family would like to invite to have lunch at the Sacred Heart Church Parish Hall.
