William Jarratt

William Meek Jarratt, 88, of Ruidoso passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, at his home. He was born January 12, 1919 in Loraine, Texas to Jena and A.E. Jarratt. He moved to Ruidoso from Tucson, Arizona in 1970 and was a building contractor. He served in the Army during World War II. He married Charlotte Crumbley on April 6, 1946 at Douglasville, Georgia. He is survived by his wife Charlotte C. Jarratt of Ruidoso; a daughter, Kathryn A. Walker of Ruidoso; grandsons, Wade a. Walker of Austin, Texas and John Travis Walker of Des Moines, Iowa; sisters, Lucille Frasier and Marie Hare of Loraine, Texas; brothers, Irving Jarratt of Midland, Texas, John Jarratt of Loraine, Texas and Dudley Jarratt of Houston, Texas. No services are planned at this time.
