Welton Maurice "Pat" Willingham, 82, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in Ruidoso. He was born January 7, 1936 in Seagraves, TX to Welton and Edyth Willingham who precede him in death.
He grew up and went to school in Capitan and Ruidoso. He was a foreman for McCarty Construction and after 25 years he retired and became an independent trucker working in New Mexico and Arizona. He married Judy on March 9, 1959 in Ruidoso.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy; his children, Rocky of Dallas, TX and his daughters, Jordan and Baylee; Andy and his wife, Tamra of Capitan and daughters, Amara, Amanda and Alana; Jeff and his wife Robin of Artesia, daughter, Madison and son, Joe; sister JoAnn Aldridge of Abilene, TX.
A Celebration of His Life will be on Saturday, February 24, at 10:00 A.M. in the Armstrong Tabernacle at the Nazarene Campground.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Clements, Encompass Hospice and Home Health Care for their help during this difficult time.
The family has requested memorials to the Memorial Prayer Garden at First Christina Church in Ruidoso or to the N.M. Christian Children's Home, 1356 New Mexico 236, Portales, NM 88130.
