Walter Killingbeck

Carrizozo resident, Mr. Walter Bernard Killingbeck, was born on February 24, 1936 in Romulus, Michigan, he was the oldest of seven children born to Edah Emma Schmiede and the late Edgar Frank Killingbeck, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He graduated from Romulus High School in 1955 and retired from the United States Army in 1988.

Walter was the beloved husband of the late Bella Candelaria. He is survived by two brothers, Bryan Killingbeck of Romulus, Michigan and Michael Killingbeck of Canton, Michigan.

His graveside service will be Thursday, May 16, at 4:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery in Carrizozo. Everyone is welcomed to attend.
