Virginia Gonzales

Virginia M. Gonzales was called by her savior on April 9th, 2019. She was born November 4th, 1936 in Tularosa, NM. She married Jose Gonzales on April 28th, 1956. She worked at Holloman Air Force Base until moving to San Patricio, NM. There she worked at Hondo Public Schools as a cafeteria cook until retirement. She moved back to her hometown of Tularosa and lived out her final days in Alamogordo. She was a loving person who gave with all her heart to anyone she could.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Jose Gonzales, both parents Julian and Anatalia Herrera, and both brothers Andrew and Martin Herrera.

She is survived by her sister, Orlidia Molinar and spouse Augustine, her sister in law Tuti Herrera, her daughter Pat Rizo, her sons, Larry Gonzales and spouse Elaine, and Lionel Gonzales. Grandchildren: Julian Gonzales and spouse Jessica, Javier Gonzales, Travis Gonzales, Chassidy Gonzales, Teresa Sanchez and spouse Matthew, Santanna Cota and spouse Mike, Justine Candelaria, Lawrence Gonzales, Conrad Gonzales, Tomas Guilez and spouse Park. Great grandchildren: Selena, Ryan, Cara, David, Timothy, Samuel, Xavier, Abrienne, Camille, Dane, Sydney, Fawna, Augusta, Bella, Ava, Kayla, Jayden, Analisa, Addison, Cameron, Ricky, and Grayson. Numerous nieces, nephews, and god children. Also, her life long best friend, Christine Torres. She will be missed and is loved by many.

We would like you to help celebrate her life on Tuesday, April 16th, 2019 at St. Jude Catholic Church in San Patricio. Rosary will begin at 9:30 am followed by the funeral mass at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Jude Cemetery. Reception will take place at St. Jude Parish Hall following burial.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Molinar, Julian Gonzales, Javier Gonzales, Travis Gonzales, Tomas Guilez, Matthew Sanchez, Lawrence Gonzales, and Conrad Gonzales. Honorary Pallbearers will be all her great grandchildren.
