Vestina Scott

Vestina was born on July 13, 1953 in Ruidoso, New Mexico and went home to the Lord on November 27, 2017 in Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico. Her parents were Ralph and Oliva Miranda. She attended school in Hondo, NM and graduated from Hondo High School in 1971. Vestina worked at the Inn of the Mountain Gods for many years as a Beverage Host. She enjoyed visiting with her customers and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her two daughters Cindy Scott and Regina Scott; her four grandchildren Anthony Montes, Adrian Garcia, Zaiden Harris, and Journey Adams; and her brothers Felipe Miranda, Israel Miranda, Ralph Miranda, and Albert Chavez. She is also survived by her uncle Paul Sanchez and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Vestina is preceded in death by her grandparents Pablo and Domina Montoya, father and mother Ralph and Oliva Miranda, her brothers Faustino Miranda, Fernando Miranda, Ismael Miranda, and Enrique Miranda. Vestina was a loving mother and friend who is loved by many and will be missed by all.

Prayer service will be Monday, December 4, at 7:00 P.M. in St. Eleanor Catholic Chruch where the funeral mass will be on Tuesday, December 5, at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at San Ysidro Cemetery.
