Dawn Davison, 59, of Ruidoso passed away at her home on Sunday, September 11, 2016 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 19, 1957 at Clovis, NM.
Dawn was long-time employee of the Inn of the Mountain Gods, a published poet, talented jewelry maker and the most giving person anyone would ever hope to know. Dawn loved Disneyland, The Moody Blues and Christmas trees. She moved from Alamogordo to Ruidoso in 1993 and before that lived in England, Spain and Germany.
She is survived by her daughter, Morgain D. Mitchell and her husband Kenneth; three grandchildren, Ren Davison, James Mitchell and Thomas Mitchell; her father, Malcolm Davison and stepmother, Sandy; stepfather, David F. Swinford; uncle, Dudley Clark and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and many close, kindred spirits. She is preceded in death by her mother, Fae L. Swinford.
Funeral service will be Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in the First Presbyterian Church with burial at Ruidoso Hondo Valley Memorial Park.
