Troy Lewis Camillo Saenz

Troy Lewis Camilo Saenz, 59, of Mescalero, NM, passed away on May 15th, 2026.

Born on February 1, 1967 in Mescalero, NM.

Troy was the child of George W. Saenz and Kita M. Saenz. He worked as a Wild-land Firefighter, Logger, Truck Driver and most recently with the Mescalero Utility Department.

He was known for his generosity, kindess, and strength.

Troy is survived by his wife Charis, his mother, Kita Saenz, his brothers, Alvin and Brandon Saenz, and all of his children Troy Jr. Casey, Twyla, Quinn, Korey and Angel. Seven grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, George W. Saenz.

Troy loved spending time with family, hunting, and working. He was a dedicated family man who took pride in providing for his family.

A funeral service ill be held on Thursday, May 21st, 2026 at St. Joseph Apache Mission Church. A rosary will take place at 9:00 AM. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Troy's wife, Charis.

Troy Saenz will be deeply missed by his family and our Mescalero community. He has gone to be with the Lord, and his father, George W. Saenz. His memory will forever be a blessing.
