Tressa C. Ramos, age 68, passed away on January 2, 2021 in Alamogordo, NM after a long, hard-fought battle with Covid-19. Tressa passed peacefully with her three daughters by her side.
Tressa was born on October 5, 1952 to Jesse B. Clairmont and Viola Iron Shell Clairmont Neault in Rosebud, SD. She graduated from Stephan High School and went on to college at Haskell Indian Junior College where she earned her Associates Degree and met her late husband John Ramos. John and Tressa were married on March 16, 1974 in Las Cruces, NM and would go on to have 3 daughters, Monique, Simona and Ariana.
Tressa was a devoted wife, mother, and nana. You could always count on Tressa to be your biggest and loudest fan whether she was cheering on her husband, daughters, grandbabies, friends or her beloved Denver Broncos.
Tressa was proceeded in death by her husband John, mother Viola, father Jesse, sister Madonna, brother Jesse Jr. and nephew Lakota.
Tressa is survived by her three daughters Monique Ramos (Wife Julia Ramos), Simona Ramos (Partner Robert Stafford) and Ariana Ramos-Darden (Husband Shawon Darden). Her six grandchildren Cyler Ramos, Kimmimilah Ramos, Talyn Ramos, Kamari Ramos-Samaniego, Jaylan Darden and Ryleigh Darden. Her five siblings Phyllis Stone, Chuck Clairmont, Sharon Clairmont, Camille Vigil, Carmen Clairmont and many nieces and nephews. Her mother-in-law Juanita Ramos and her brother-in-law Albert Ramos. Pamela Brown (mother-in-law to Monique) and Shelia Darden-Dobson (mother-in-law to Ariana).
Tressa has been laid to rest next to her husband John, at Gavilan Canyon Cemetery in Ruidoso, NM.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and hospital staff at Gerald Champion Medical Center in Alamogordo, NM.
