Tomasa Samson

Tommie Samson, 79, of Ruidoso passed away Monday, Nov. 26, the family will have a private service in her memory. She was born August 14, 1928 in El Paso, Texas. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will never be forgotten for her unbending love, her forgiving heart and her beautiful smile. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sisto and Margarita Moreno, her husband Virgil D. Samson who passed away on April 24, 2003. She is survived by three daughters, Margie Samson of Odessa, Texas, Roseanna Painter of Ruidoso and JoDiane Samson of Portland, Oregon; a brother, Joe Moreno Sr.; grandchildren, Joseph Madrid, Joanna McKenzie, Brian Painter and Jessica Painter; nephews, Joe Moreno Jr. and Danny Moreno and a niece, Elsa Moreno.
