Timothy Worrell

April 22, 1954 — April 28, 2014

Tim Worrell, 60, of Capitan passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 near his home. He was born April 22, 1954 at Neptune, NJ to Elaine and Erwin Worrell. He married Charlene Gatto on July 17, 1976 at Hawthorne, NJ.

Tim Worrell came to New Mexico in 1980 to start a Christian Camp for kids. Though many locals thought his idea and vision was impossible. His dream and vision brought about not only Lone Tree Ranch but Fort Lone Tree, Lone Tree Lakeshore, and mission work in both Juarez and the Alamo Reservation outside of Magdalena. He loved the Lord loved life, adventure and his family. He was a man with big faith, saw the best in everyone, and lived everyday as it was his last.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene a son, David Worrell and his wife Autumn of Pueblo, CO a daughter, Christina Wilson and her husband, Justin of Elephant Butte, NM his father, Erwin Worrell of Neptune, NJ two brothers, Steve Worrell of Timberon, NM and Ken Worrell of Memphis, TN two sisters, Susan Richards of Lancaster, PA and Cindy Brooks of Branson, MO.

A Come and Go Celebration of Tims life will be Sunday, May 4, at his residence from Noon until 3:00 PM.
