Ted Zamora, 81, of Carrizozo passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at his home in Carrizozo. He was born April 5, 1939 in Ancho, NM and had lived in Lincoln County all his life. Ted served in the Army, was retired code enforcement officer for the City of Carrizozo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine who he married on October 13, 1961.
He is survived by three sons, Charles Zamora, Gilbert Zamora and David Zamora; a daughter, Veronica Zamora; two brothers, Leroy Zamora Sr. and Nazario Zamora; two sisters, Sally Baca and Priscilla Romo; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Rosary service will be Friday, October 23, at 9:30 A.M. with the funeral mass to follow at 10:00 A.M. in Santa Rita Catholic Church at Carrizozo with burial to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.
