Susan Penn

A memorial service for Susan E. Penn, 64, of Ruidoso will be Thursday, August 9, at 10:00 AM in the Episcopal Church of the Holy Mount in Ruidoso. Mrs. Penn passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, in Ruidoso. She was born February 2, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. She moved to Ruidoso in October, 1988 from LaUnion, New Mexico, she recently retired as a paralegal from Alan Morel Law Office, she was a member of the New Mexico Bar Association and was a member of the Episcopal Church of Lincoln County. She married Rev. Canon John W. Penn on January 20, 1978 in Albuquerque. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Canon John W. Penn; six grown children, David, Michael, Lisa Jane, Joel, Alan, and Lisa Marie; 7 grandchildren, and one great grandchild; her parents, Betty and George Hank Johnson and a brother, Bruce Johnson. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Episcopal Church of Lincoln County.
