Sue Lewallen

Funeral service for Sue Lewallen, 73, of Ruidoso will be Thursday, January 15, at 1:00 PM in the First Southern Baptist Church of Ruidoso Downs.

Sue passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 in Ruidoso. She was born September 19, 1941 at New Orleans, Louisiana. She moved to Lincoln County in 1950 from Roswell. She worked at Lincoln County Medical Center for the past 37 years.

She married Grover Lewallen June 21, 1958 in Ruidoso and he preceded her in death in 1978, she was also preceded in death by her son, Grover Richard Lewallen in 1980.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Shadowens of Glen Rose, Texas and Diana Lewallen of Ruidoso; a sister, Linda Welch of Ruidoso; 6 grandchildren, Mandi, Joshua, Kacie, John, Britni, and Jessica; and 11 great grandchildren.

The family has requested memorials to the Old Mill Preservation or Lincoln County Medical Center.
