Steven Chavez

Mr. Chavez was born November 21, 1986 in Kileen, Texas to Novelda and Eddie Chavez and had lived all of his life in the Hondo Valley. He graduated from Hondo High School in 2005, he loved the outdoors, football and music. He joined the Marine Corp and was serving in Irag when he passed away March 14, 2007 at Ar Ramadi, Iraq. He is survived by his parents, Eddie and Novelda Chavez; a sister, Jackie Chavez; a brother, Jaime Chavez; his grandparents, Melvin and Priscilla Chavez, Lorena and Larry Andre and Annie Pena; a great grandmother, Inez Romero.
