Stephen Waites

Funeral service for Stephen Waites, 48, of Mescalero will be Friday, March 4, at 10:00 AM in the Mescalero Family Worship Center with burial to follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.

Mr. Waites passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 in Alamogordo. He was born July 28, 1962 at Lordsburg, New Mexico. He has lived in the Mescalero area off and on for the past 20 years. He was a comercial insulation installer. He married Isabel Ortega on July 2, 2010 in Ruidoso.

He is survived by his wife, Isabel three sons, Stephen Carl Waites Jr., Norman Paul Waites, and Christopher Daniel Waites two daughters, Kateri Nona Waites, Summer Mercedes Waites four step children, Lyneava Cleveland, Delano Ortega, Shaylynn Shanta and Dellon Perico one brother, David Eugene Waites Jr. three sisters, Veronica Lynne Quinlan, Shelley Deon Laughlin and Shauna Dee Altuna and three grandchildren.
