Shirley Kostka

Shirley Kostka, 80, of Ruidoso, New Mexico passed away on December 14, 2014 at
home after a short illness. She was born October 21, 1934 in Middlesex, England to
Robert Parsons and Doris Maynard, both who preceded her in death.

Shirley moved to Ruidoso in 1981 and opened the White Dove Gallery which she
successfully operated for 33 years. She will be missed by many friends and family who
all loved her dearly. Shirley will always be known for her love of the beach and fishing,
incredible cooking and hosting amazing parties at her home.

Shirley is survived by her life partner Cy Siano. Her first husband, John Kostka,
preceded her in death. She is also survived by son Corey Kostka of San Pedro, CA
daughter Cheryl Anne Hall and husband David of Rio Rancho, NM grandsons John
Kostka of Albuquerque, NM, Tyler Kostka of San Pedro, CA, Luke Hall of Rio Rancho,
NM, granddaughter Alex Kostka of San Pedro, CA, great grandson Jack Kostka and great
granddaughter Alice Kostka of Albuquerque, NM stepdaughters Stacy Ross and Susie
Moore both of Dallas, TX, sisterinlaw Eleanor Coatsworth and husband Ben of
Richmond, TX and stepfatherinlaw Hein Franssen of the Netherlands.

Shirley was also preceded in death by brothers Eric, Roy and Frank Parsons, sisters Doris
and her twin and motherinlaw Bertha Franssen.

Cremation is under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Home. A memorial service is
scheduled for Saturday, January 3rd, 2015 at 11:00 am following the holidays. The
service will be at Calvary Chapel of Ruidoso located at 127 Vision Drive.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Calvary Chapel or any
charity of your choice.

Service
