Sevesta James

Memorial service for Sevesta L. James, 95, of Ruidoso will be Friday, February 2, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the J Bar J Country Church.

She passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Mescalero Care Center. She was born June 12, 1922 in Odell, Texas. She moved to Ruidoso in 1973 from Duncan, OK. She was a caregiver to the elderly and a member of First Baptist Church in Ruidoso.
She married W.L. James on December 2, 1942 and he preceded her in death on September 5, 1973.

She is survived by a son, Jimmy James of Bent, NM; sister, Dorothy of Oklahoma and a brother Melvin of Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Memorials has been requested to J Bar J Country Church or First Baptist Church in Ruidoso.
