Sally Rue

Sally Rue died peacefully in her home in Ruidoso Downs on November15, 2014, she was 68.

Sally is preceded in death by Cedric B. Rue, her husband of 26 years, her mother Manuella Nellie Randolph and her brother Andrew Miller.

Sally is survived by her 3 children, Cedric F. Rue, Henry A Rue and wife Luana CanoRue, and her daughter Marcella E. Rue.

She has 6 grandchildren, Alexander Rue, Kailah CanoRue, Serena Gilmore, Echo Diaz, Jordan Rue and Shadow Gilmore.

She has 4 great grandchildren, Derrick Kekoa Donnell, Jr, Landon Rue, Francisco Diaz III and Rabun Mendoza.

Sally was born March 28, 1946 in Roswell, NM, She moved to Ruidoso when she married Cedric B. Rue on May 10, 1963

Sally worked for the Ruidoso School District as a cook, she was a school bus driver and later worked for the Village of Ruidoso at the Senior Citizens Center, this was the job she loved, she adored helping and driving her seniors around, later she transferred to the Library and several years later she retired from the Village.

Sally was a very caring mother, grandmother, sister, friend and member of this community. She was always willing and volunteering to lend a hand to those in need.

She will be greatly missed by her familyRest In Peace.

Services will be held on Thursday November 20, 2014 at 2 P.M. at the First Southern Baptist Church in Ruidoso Downs. Please join us in Celebrating her life. We ask our family and friends to have dinner with us after the services and if possible to bring a dish to share of your choice.
