Sabino Adler Sandoval, age 90, passed away on November 2, 2024, in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Sabino was born on November 9, 1933, in Carrizozo, New Mexico to the late Santiago and Maria Sandoval.
Mr. Sandoval was known by many and loved by more. He was a jokester and always a happy soul. He enjoyed going for cruises and visiting with anyone and everyone, he could make a friend anywhere he went. He loved his family and was always looking for a good time. Sabino enjoyed gardening and putting love into his yard. He also enjoyed lending a helping hand. One of his proudest achievements was serving in the U.S. Air Force; he would often share his stories about Great Falls, Montana. Sabino was also an avid enthusiast of Boxing and music! He looked up to the likes of Cassius Clay to Johnny Tapia. Sabino loved Elvis Presley and the corridos of the greatest singers, like Vicente Fernandez.
Sabino is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Petra Vega Sandoval; his parents Maria Adler Romero Sandoval and Santiago (Jimmy) Sandoval; his children, twins, Gabriel and Lydia; brothers, Paul, Richard, Juan, and Benny; sisters, Clara, Rosa, Sofia, Cecilia, Beatrice, Amalia, and Eva; and his two best dogs Jax and Panda.
Mr. Sandoval is survived by his loving family; sons, Raul Sandoval, and Daniel Sandoval; daughters, Teresa Davis, Margaret S. Cordova, and Marcella Sandoval; grandchildren, Cameron and Bryce Sandoval, Matthew Ortiz, Krystal Torres, Strait Sandoval, and Scout the dog; great grandchildren, Brayden and Brynlee Sandoval, Caden and Carter Sandoval, Courtney and Ryan Ortiz, Gracie and Trinidad Torres; sister, Lucy Miranda, brother, Charlie Sandoval; his ride or die, Anthony (Tony) James; his beloved friends, Casey Barela, Wesley Lindsey, and George Vega; and his many loved nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
A Rosary service will begin at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Santa Rita Catholic Church in Carrizozo. Mass of Christian Burial will be held immediately following the Rosary. Interment with military honors will take place after the Mass at Evergreen Cemetery in Carrizozo.
Pallbearers are Charlie Sandoval, Raul Sandoval, Daniel Sandoval, Anthony James, Casey Barela, and Robert Dutchover. Honorary pallbearers are George Vega, David Vega, Wesley Lindsey, and Josh Grajeda.
Flowers may be sent to Santa Rita Catholic Church in Carrizozo, or to LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Santa Rita Catholic Church in Carrizozo in remembrance of Sabino Adler Sandoval.
