Rusty Coons
June 6, 1958 — April 29, 2015
Rusty Lee Coons, 56, of Ruidoso Downs passed away April 29, 2015. He was born June 6, 1958 in El Paso, Texas. His passions in life were dancing, training Arabian horses, anything horses, fishing and a love for all animals and nature. And we can't forget the Dallas Cowboys.
He is survived by his domestic partner Kimberly Atwood and her family, two brothers, Richard Coons(wife Janet), Ronny Coons(wife Danette), three sisters, Tinnie Dixon(husband Will), Roxanne Coons, Crystal Gartin(husband Keith) and several Nieces and Nephews.
A celebration of his life is on Saturday, May 9th, at 4:00 PM in the Elks Lodge, 609 Hwy. 70 West. It is an informal potluck, come as you are and bring your memories to share. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Lincoln County Humane Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Rusty's name.
