Richard Mound

Dick Mound, 84, of Ruidoso passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at his home. He was born October 20, 1932 at Farmington, New Mexico.

He moved to Ruidoso with his family in July, 1969 from Deming, NM and worked with Bill Dean, CPA for 8 years then went into private practice as Richard Mound, CPA in 1977 until his retirement in 2015. He served in the Army, loved his family, basketball, fishing and golf. He married Carol Ann Priesnitz on September 21, 1957 at Carlsbad, NM

He is survived by his wife, Carol of Ruidoso; children, Cindy Yenson and her husband, Terry of Albuquerque, Rick Mound and his Tina of Flower Mound, TX, Sean Mound and his wife Patti of Cedar Park, TX; grandchildren, Nicole Mound, Trey Mound, Chelsie Craddock and her husband Lawson, Patrick Mound and Jonathan Mound; a great grandchild, Grayson Mound; a brother, Jack Mound and his wife Maria of Albuquerque.

His prayer vigil will be Friday, December 16, at 6:00 P.M. at St. Eleanor's Catholic Church where the funeral mass will be on Saturday, December 17, at 10:00 A.M.

The family has requested memorials to St. Eleanor's Catholic Church or the New Mexico State University Athletic Fund.
