Rena Shanks

Rena Shanks, 55, of Alto and formerly Carlsbad passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 at her home. She was born September 7, 1960 at Greenville, Mississippi. She moved to Alto in November, 2014 from Carlsbad. She was co-owner of Shanks Logging in Carlsbad, was an artist and hard worker and a lover of dogs.

She is survived by her husband, Dave; two children, Eric Shanks and Carrie Shanks; two grandchildren, Lyric Shanks and Kinley Shanks.

A private services will be held.
