Rayner Chavez

Memorial service for Rayner R. Chavez, 69, of Ruidoso will be Saturday, December 10, at 11:00 AM in the Gateway Church of Christ in Ruidoso.

Mr. Chavez passed away Monday, December 5, 2011, in Ruidoso. He was born December 17, 1941 at San Patricio to Christina and Aristeo Chavez who precede him in death. He had lived in Lincoln County all of his life. He had served in the Army and was owneroperator of Paloma Blanca Excavating. He married Bonnie Zamora on December 27, 1972 at Las Vegas, Nevada.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie two sons, Abel Chavez and Adam Chavez a daughter, Andrea Chavez 5 brothers, Israel Chavez, Felix Chavez, Arturo Chavez, Monroy Chavez, and Rueben Chavez 6 sisters, Lydia Rue, Maria Salas, Theresa Chavez, Dolores Carrillo, Lillian Lopez and Adelina Payne and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Benjamin Chavez, Modesto Chavez, Elena Klein, Charlie Chavez and Esperanza Chavez.
