Phillip Ahidley Jr.

Phillip Ahidley Jr,, 68, of Mescalero passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Ruidoso. He was born April 15, 1946 at Mescalero and had lived there all of his life.

He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and earned a Bronze Star. He also worked in Forestry with B.I.A. and was a lift operator at Ski Apache. He married Pansy Kanesewah on March 12, 1974 at Mescalero.

He is survived by his wife, Pansy; children, Malloy Edward Ahidley, David Michael Ahidley, Dean Crawford Ahidley, Raybert Darin Ahidley and Philena Shay Ahidley; 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Ahidley Sr. and Austin Ahidley; two sisters, Lola Salas and Michaelene Ahidley.

Prayer service will be Sunday, March 29, at 6:00 PM at the Mescalero Community Center where the funeral service will be on Monday, March 30, at 10:00 AM. Burial with military honors will follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
