Phil Kelly

Funeral mass for Phil Kelly, 67, of Picacho will be Friday, July 6, at 10:00 AM in the St. Joseph's Mission in Picacho with the Rev. Al Galvan officiating. Burial will follow at the Picacho Cemetery. Mr. Kelly passed away Friday, June 29, at his home. He was born November 20, 1939 at Columbus, Indiana to Arlie and Georgia Kelly who both precede him in death. He retired from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 22 years also serving during Vietnam. He moved to Lincoln County in 1980 from Alamogordo and worked for T.M.C. in Roswell retiring after 13 years in 1994. He married Lupe Salas on August 12, 1961. He is survived by his wife, Lupe; a son, Patrick Kelly and his wife Eloise; a daughter, Vivian Brown and her husband Michael; grandchildren, Kevin and Kelsey Kelly, Casey and Shannon Brown; great grandchildren, Ella Aurora Brown; brothers and sisters, William Kelly, Marilyn Schible, his twin sister, Phyllis Kelly, Patty White and Linda Newport. He is preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Arlie Kelly Jr, Marjorie Snyder, Mary Ann Hatton, and Jean Pruiet. The family has requested memorials to Ruidoso Home Care and Hospice, P.O. Box 2019, Ruidoso, NM 88355.
