Paul Tillman

Paul Lawerence "Larry" Tillman, 74, of Ruidoso Downs passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 in Roswell. He was born April 28, 1944 at Clovis, NM and moved to Lincoln County 28 years ago from Grady, NM. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was a shooter on the Skeet Team.

He was a member of the Sierra Blanca Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, he loved to hunt, watch the wild life, elk , deer and turkey. He married Louise Wilmeth on July 25, 1969 at Clovis, NM.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Wilmeth Tillman; son, Corey Tillman; two granddaughters, Myria Webb Caster and Jordyn Tillman; grandson, Travis Tillman; sister, Christine Jones; brother, Marshall Tillman; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracey Anjanette Tillman; his parents, Emory Jackson and Margery Olga Tillman; brother, Johnny Tillman; sister, Teresa Ponds and a niece, Jo Marie Jones.

A celebration of his life will be Saturday, September 29, at 2:00 P.M. at his residence.
