Patrocino Herrera

Patrocino Ruben Herrera, 47, born March 11, 1960 passed away on December 11, 2007. He was preceded in death by his father Benjamin L. Herrera and his brother Sammy Herrera.

He is survived by his wife Traci Herrera, daughter Nicole Herrera, stepchildren Tony and wife Debbie, Benjamin and Christa Roe, and his grandchildren Mercedes, Christian, Katie, Shannan, and Chaylyn Roe. He is also survived by his mother Brijida Herrera and his in-laws Mr. and Mrs. James Roe. He is also survived by his brother Benjamin Herrera Jr. and six sisters Becky and Robert Harrington, Arlene Herrera, Lorena and Elias Rue, Dolores and Bobby Martinez, Teresa Herrera, and Sandra and Tony Rue and a brother in law Rick Roe, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a life long resident of Ruidoso Downs, graduated from Ruidoso High School in 1979 and was a loved employee of Elias Rues Unlimited Construction.

He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. His passions were being a Lieutenant for the Glencoe Fire Department and driving his dump truck El Pato.

Pat was a woods craftsman, gamesman and collector of all things. He enjoyed being with family and friends. Her never met a stranger that did not become his friend, had a wonderful sense of humor and always helped a friend.

There will be a Rosary Service held at Saint Josephs Mission in Mescalero, NM on Friday December 14, 2007 at 6pm, the Mass Services will also be in Mescalero on December 15, 2007 at 10:00 am. The burial will immediately follow at Saint Judes Catholic Church in San Patricio, NM.
