Patricia Seymour

Patricia Seymour, 73 of Capitan passed away April 26, 2015. She was born in Emuclaw, Washington to Homer and Francis Flanagan on March 17th, 1942. Patricia left Washington in 1956 and moved to Huntsville, Arkansas. She moved to Lincoln County in the late 70's. She owned and operated a popular video store in Ruidoso with her children for 15 years. She then utilized her education after acquiring her Masters and P.H.D. and worked as a Domestic Violence Counselor and then as a Treatment Foster Parent. Having over 20 different foster care youth in her home, Patricia provided stability, love and guidance to high risk youth.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Lisa Daniel and husband Scott of Capitan, son Richard Pharris and his wife, Sherida, of Albuquerque, her grandchildren, Tanner and Jayden Daniel and great grandchildren Brixton and Presley. She was proceeded in death by her son, Buddy Russell Pharris.

A celebration of eternal life will be held at a later date.
