Pansy Pinto

Pansy Pinto, 82, Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Aunt, Cousin, was called home eternally on June 22, 2023 at her home in Elk Silver, Mescalero, New Mexico.

Pansy was born on October 10, 1940 in Mescalero, NM. Her parents were Raymond Pinto & Salome Smith-Pinto.
She also had numerous siblings who are all already entered into rest & have all gone before her as well as her parents. Pansy in her young adolescent years went to Elk Day School, as she went into adulthood and graduated high school, she went on to go to college at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. There she obtained her Associates Degree in Anthropology and went onto a career of becoming an X-Ray Technician working with Indian Health Services in Chinle, Arizona, Gallup, NM and Mescalero, NM.

Pansy is preceded in death by her two daughters Pamela Clark and Doreen Clark. She is survived by her Daughter Theresa Treas along with numerous Grandchildren, and Great-Grandchildren. Pansy loved all of her family with all her heart, each one of them held a unique, special place in her heart. She will always be remembered for her long life, her strong-willed determination to keep going no matter what, but most of all the love she had for her family members and friends.
Pansy loved to do word searches, puzzles, read the bible, pray, and spend time with family, but most of all she had a great love for the land she resided on. She was greatly loved by all her family and will be forever missed as we lay her to rest.
Services for Pansy L. Pinto will be as follows: Viewing Friday June 30th, 2023 from 10am to 1130am @ LaGrone Funeral Chapel Ruidoso, NM. Funeral Services Friday June 30th, 2023 @ 1pm, St. Joseph's Apache Mission Mescalero, NM. Burial to follow @ Mescalero Cemetery, Potluck Dinner to follow burial @ St. Joseph's Parish Hall.
