Nazario Zamora, 75, beloved Husband and Father, was called to his eternal resting place on July 18, 2021. He entered this world on October 2, 1945 in Carrizozo, NM, born to Vicente Aragon and Bernadette Zamora.
Nazario is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Lee Zamora; sons Benny Zamora and Adam (Alicia) Zamora; daughter Darlene Fernandez; daughter-in-law Andrea Zamora; sisters Sally (David) Baca and Priscilla (Ray) Romo; brother LeeRoy (Frances) Zamora; grandchildren Rory Zamora, Stephanie (Mark) LeBlanc, Zhané (Angel) Autrey, Xavier Zamora, Mya Zamora, Orion Wyatt, Deven Zamora, Maddie Zamora, Brentlea Zamora, and Rylee Zamora; great-grandchildren Donavin Zamora, Adrian LeBlanc, Kendyll LeBlanc, Olivia LeBlanc, Tatum LeBlanc, and DeAngelo Vega.
Nazario is preceded in death by his son Rodney Lee Zamora.
Nazario worked at the Fort Stanton hospital for many years until he retired. He and Mary Lee created a beautiful family legacy, which he was very proud of. He enjoyed spending his days with his wife and playing with his grandchildren and watching them grow. Nazario loved working on projects outside with his children and grandchildren. He was a lifelong member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Nazario was a true Dallas Cowboys fan, and loved watching WWE.
Memorial services for Nazario Zamora will be held at 9:45 AM, Friday, July 23, 2021 at St. Rita Catholic Church on 213 Birch St, Carrizozo, NM 88301. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery, Carrizozo, NM.
