Nancy Hollis

Nancy Helen Hollis, 73, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022 in Albuquerque.  She was born May 21, 1949 at Valentine, Nebraska to Allegra “Lee” and Dwayne “Shorty” Buechler who both have preceded her in death.  Nancy had worked for Ruidoso State Bank and then in the business office at Lincoln County Medical Center retiring when she turned 65.

She was the wife and soul mate of Rick Hollis who she married December 27, 1980 in Sunland Park, New Mexico.

She is survived by her husband, Rick; brother, Simon “Si” Buechler and his wife Dana; nieces, Shawna Clement and Shannon Ochoa; great nephew, Maddon; her lifelong friend, Alberta Ditchkus.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Gwen Duechler.
