Minnie Harrington

Minnie Kaye Harrington, 55, of Mescalero passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 in Albuquerque. She was born October 30, 1962 at Mescalero and had lived there all of her life. She attended the Mescalero Baptist Church and married Irvin Harrington on February 14, 2000 in Alamogordo.

She is survived by her husband, Irvin; son, Richard Harrington; 14 foster children, Misty Enjady, Shantelli Provencio, Melanie Provencio, Alcario Provencio, Euginia Mendez, Crystal Peralto, Rebecca Kinzhuma, Terri Mendez-Trujillo, Julius Mendez, Alicianna Shanta, Anaya Shanta, Uriah Shanta, Robert Guzman Jr. and McKinley Guzman; sisters and brothers, Norena Shanta, Dara Shanta, Lydia Shanta-Tso, Asa Shanta Jr., Carl Buurma, Loretta Shanta and Linda Carrillo and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 4, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with the prayer service at 6:00 P.M. in the Mescalero Baptist Church. The funeral service will be Monday, March 5, at 10:00 A.M. in the Mescalero Baptist Church with burial to follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
