Melinda Hiles

Melinda Josephine Hiles, 66, of Mescalero passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 in El Paso, Texas. She was born October 29, 1949 at Mescalero and had lived there all of her life. She was a Domestic Engineer and attended St. Joseph's Mission. She married James Hiles on October 25, 1967 at El Paso, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, James Hiles; her children, Eugenia Mendez, Tarena Hiles, Patrick Hiles Sr. and Jodi Hiles-Cojo; 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; her sister, Maybelle Belin and brother, David Belin. She was preceded in death by a son, James Hiles Jr.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 21, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with the prayer vigil at 6:00 P.M. at St. Joseph's Mission. The funeral mass will be Friday, January 22, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Mission with burial to follow at the Hiles Family Cemetery at Bent, NM
