Maynard Halbedl

Graveside service for Maynard K. Halbedl, 86, of Ruidoso will be Friday, May 25, at 10:30 AM at Ft. Stanton Cemetery with Military Rites.

Mr. Halbedl passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012, in Ruidoso. He was born May 25, 1925 at San Antonio, TX. He was a retired Vice President with Yellow Freight and had served in the Army. He moved to Ruidoso in 1985 from Greer, Arizona. He married Ann Kennedy on January 31, 1970 at San Antonio, TX.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Halbedl two daughters, Mikki Ottea of San Antonio, TX and Debe Reidinger of Mission Viejo, CA 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Halbedl.

The family has requested memorials to the Cree Meadow Ladies Scholarship Fund of the Wounded Warrior Project.
