Mary O'Dell

Mary Ann O'Dell, 66, of Nogal, NM passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017. She was born May 6, 1951 in Nogal to Lura and George Fitzpatrick who have both preceded her in death. She was a school teacher and had taught in Tularosa and Ruidoso. She married Thomas L. O'Dell in May 29, 1969 and they lived in Portales, NM until moving back to Lincoln County in 1994.

She is survived by her husband: Thomas L. O'Dell; two daughters, Cherie Lynn O'Dell and Shannon May O'Dell; five brothers, Bill Fitzpatrick, Joe Fitzpatrick, James Fitzpatrick, Robert Hopkins and Elmer Hopkins; three sisters, Evelyn Virginia Dobbs, Katy Holman and Cherry Williams. She was also preceded in death by a brother, George Edward Fitzpatrick Jr.

Her funeral service will be Monday, October 30, 2017, at 1:00 P.M. in the Angus Church of the Nazarene with burial to follow at Ft. Stanton Cemetery.
