Marty Coyote
September 11, 1958 — May 4, 2014
Marty Coyote, 55, of Mescalero passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 in Alamogordo. He was born September 11, 1958 at Cortez, Colorado. He moved to Mescalero in 1972 from Towaoc, Colorado. He graduated from Tularosa High School in 1977.
He is survived by his stepfather, Juan Pena Sr. brothers and sisters, Winona Chimal and her husband Roderick, Phillip Coyote Jr., Laura Coyote, Teresa Coyote Acosta, Christopher Coyote, Shawn Pena and his wife, Sandy, Rodney Pena and his wife Justina and Matt Pena.
Visitation will be Friday, May 9, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with the prayer service at 6:00 PM at St. Josephs Mission. The funeral mass will be Saturday, May 10, at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
