Mark Forlano

Mark A. Forlano, 98, of Capitan died Friday, May 31, 2013.

He was born in Los Angeles, California on November 7, 1914. He served in the Navy from 1942 to 1972. He married Evelyn Bonnie Giesler in 1963, she preceded him in death on February 1, 2003. For 13 years he was a bodyguard to the stars in Hollywood, in 1990 Mark and Bonnie moved to Capitan. He was a member of the Lincoln County Sheriffs Posse.

He is survived by his sister, Grace Jones of California and his nephew, Lyle Hawkins also of California.

Graveside service will be Friday, June 7, at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruidoso.
