A potluck memorial for Maria Skinner, 60, of Ruidoso will be Friday, April 3, at 6:00 PM at the Ruidoso Senior Citizen Center.
Mrs. Skinner passed away Saturday, March 28, in Ruidoso. She was born January 2, 1949 at Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. She moved to Ruidoso in 1989 from Eunice, NM. She had been a greeter at Walmart for seven years. She loved to fish, loved her pets and loved to travel and visit her family.
She is survived by a son, Jeremy Skinner and his wife Jessica; two brothers, Ubaldo Skinner and his wife Pam and Javier Skinner; several nieces and nephews and her Walmart family.
The family has requested memorials to the Humane Society of Lincoln County.
