Maria Heckman

Maria Earnestine "Tina" Heckman, 84, of Alamogordo passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in Alamogordo, New Mexico, she was born on July 2, 1930 in Dixon, New Mexico to Magdalena and Frank Atencio both who preceded her in death. Maria moved to Alamogordo in 1973 from Jacksonville, Arkansas . She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Eugene Heckman who passed in 2011. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Larry and Frank Atencio.

She is survived by two sisters, Carmen Bannister of Denver, Colorado and Teresa Dellemonache of Santa Fe, NM and a brother Jimmie Atencio of San Jose, California. She is also survived by her son Eric Heckman and his wife Debbie of Alamogordo; grandchildren Erika Ellington and husband Dal of Nashville, Tennessee; Curtis Heckman and wife Amanda of Bloomfield, NM; Samantha Carrilllo and husband Herbert of Alamogordo; 10 great grandchildren and 3 precious dogs.
