Margie S. Misquez, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 75. Born on February 19, 1950, in Morton, Texas, Margie brightened the lives of those around her with a spirit that was as nurturing as it was vivacious.
Margie devoted herself to raising her three wild boys, nurturing them with an unconditional love that also extended to all their friends, who affectionately called her “Mom.” Her home was a sanctuary filled with laughter and warmth, and everyone who knew Margie quickly discovered her kind heart and welcoming nature. Known for her vibrant personality, she formed friendships effortlessly and was loved by all who crossed her path.
A lover of nature, Margie found solace in her garden, cultivating beautiful roses that flourished under her tender care. Every day at two o'clock, she transformed a simple ritual into a moment of joy, treating herself to a Diet Coke with light ice, savoring the refreshing drink as a brief pause in her busy life. Margie also enjoyed her trips to the casino, where she embraced the thrill of the game, always leaving her phone behind in the car, relishing in the freedom that those moments brought her.
Interestingly, Margie's relationship with her dog, Cookie, was a tapestry of love and exasperation; she often expressed both fondness and frustration towards her furry companion. This unique bond encapsulated her fiery spirit, revealing a woman full of contradictions yet eternally charming.
