Majorie Yahnahki

Marjorie C. "Margie" Yahnahki, 87 of Mescalero passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Mescalero. She was born September 3, 1927 on the Mescalero Apache Reservation. She worked at the Mescalero Indian Hospital in housekeeping until her retirement. She attended St. Joseph's Mission.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Kaycee Yahnahki Casares; two grandsons, Gordon Yahnahki Jr. and Taylor Yahnahki; two brothers, Rayburn Chico and Theodore Rodriquez; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will Tuesday, June 23, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso. The rosary service will be Tuesday, June 23, at 6:00 PM at St. Jospeh's Mission where the funeral mass will be on Wednesday, June 24, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
